Website Purpose

The Town of Danville website presents many of the services offered by Town staff and officials.  The primary purpose of the website is to convey information to users and not to facilitate free and open dialogue between users.
 
Communications made through e-mail and messaging systems shall, in no way, be deemed to constitute legal notice to or from the city or any of its agencies, officers, employees, agents or representatives.

As a governmental agency, the Town of Danville is governed by New Hampshire's Right-to-Know laws. It is important for you to understand that most business you conduct with the Town of Danville, as well as with state and county governments, becomes a public record.  Public records, as defined by state law, and not made confidential elsewhere in the New Hampshire law, may be posted for electronic access through this website. This includes most Town permits you have applied for, property you own and are assessed a property tax, and requests for a town service. These same records have long been open for public inspection by anyone requesting them in person, by mail or by telephone at the appropriate government office.
