Danville Old Home Days 2007

Please join us in celebrating Danville Old Home Days August 25th & 26th.
Saturday, August 25th -
8:45 – 10:45 a.m. 4km Road Race, Fitness Walk & 0.5 mile Kid’s Fun Run. Prizes for top Road Race finishers.
Registration begins @ 7:00 a.m. inside the Danville Safety Complex. Registration fee is $12.00 on or before August 15, and $15.00 thereafter. 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Vendor Tables - 10’x10’ spaces are available for $15 each, & will be available that day from 8:00am-3:00pm. (Vendor provides own table.) Spaces may be used for arts & crafts, vendors, yard sale items, etc. Please mail payment to: Danville Recreation Fund PO Box 45 Danville, NH 03819 including name, telephone number and type of item(s) you will be selling. Ongoing events – Dunk Tank – sponsored by Danville Police Department Face-painting
11:00 a.m.- 11:45 a.m. Julie and Brownie’s Healthy Choices children’s show sponsored by Merrimack Valley Hospital [under the tent]
12:00 a.m – 12:45 p.m. K9 Police Dog Demonstration with Plaistow Officer Alec Porter and Stryker.
12:45 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Kids games and contests such as 3-legged race, sack race, relay races - Each child will receive a ribbon.
11:30 a.m – 1:30 p.m. Danville Fire Association BBQ including food and drink.
1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Musical Entertainment by the Timberlane Community Band (Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the show!)
Sunday, August 26th
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Forestry Walk Forestry Committee Walk from the
"Hawke Conservation Area" south of the old meeting house. Formal guided walks will be at 10:00
a.m. and 11:00 a.m. People are welcome to go by themselves on marked
footpaths and maps are available as well as light refreshments. There
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Little Red Schoolhouse on Main St. (Route 111A) open for viewing.
3:00 p.m. Church Service at the Old Meeting House on Main St. (Route 111A) – All Invited!
