The Danville Community Center (formerly the Fire Association Hall) is located at 169 Main Street and provides a versatile and convenient facility for town residents to gather and host civic and community events. The Community Center has been the location of Elections, Deliberative Sessions, and Town Meetings and will continue in this capacity. At this time, the Community Center will not be available for rental or private functions and will instead be used for community and town sponsored events.

A five-person management committee was formed in September 2011, with appointments made by the Board of Selectmen from a pool of interested volunteers. The committee consists of Steve Woitkun, Ed Morrison, Patricia Shogren, Kimberly Burnham, and Mark Ethridge. The committee members represent a diverse cross-section of community residents to include managers, life safety professionals, town employees, and a construction contractor. This committee is charged with the stewardship of the Community Center to include preparing operating budgets, determining improvements and renovations, scheduling maintenance, and the management and oversight of scheduled activities.

Inquiries regarding the Danville Community Center or scheduling of events should be directed to the Danville Town Hall at 603-382-8253 x 1 or x3.
