a motion to accept the non-public
June 4, 2009 minutes as amended.
The motion passed.
Walter Baird’s application
to be a member of the Conservation Commission was approved by the Selectmen.
Judy has the 2004 edition of
the NH Handbook for Conservation Commissions. Copies of this,
or if there are more recent editions, should be ordered for all members
of the board, plus extras for use at the town hall.
Judy has filed the complaint
regarding property in Cotton Farm, but has not heard anything further
on the matter.
The RPC grant application had
been faxed; however, Judy received a phone call that the application
needs to be resubmitted. The grant will hopefully be used for
corridor mapping to assist in land purchase evaluations.
The latest draft of the easement
needs to be reviewed. Curt Springer has been working on the language
for the boundaries. The Board agreed that referencing map and
lot numbers would be helpful.
Laura has filled out an application
to attend a class on wildlife mapping.
CTAP has funds to develop an
open space task force. This is part of the I93 improvement project.
Volunteers are needed to be on the committee. This request for
volunteers can be posted on the website, bulletin board, and added to
the Selectmen’s announcements.
The next meeting date will
be September 3rd.
Sheila suggested that the Conservation
Commission adopt an email procedure similar to the Heritage Commission.
At 8:25pm Judy moved and Walter
seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed
unanimously.
Minutes are
prepared by Janet S. Denison, clerk
