CONSERVATION COMMISSION

                                        WORK SESSION  June 15, 2005

Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm

1.  Reviewed expedited dredge and fill permit from Town Road Agent for Pleasant St

2.  Reviewed plan for Wheeler for subdivision of property on Colby Road.  Soil scientist and architect were present.  The area is not being done according to plan for one of the wetland areas around the driveway area.

3.  Reviewed plan for Gerard subdivision on Beach Plain Road.  The main house is being subdivided off onto 2 acres.

4.  Chris and Judy reviewed the information we have on hand for the Audubon Society, Rockingham Land Trust and Rockingham County Conservation District in preparation for the joint meeting of August 3, 2005 with the Selectmen, Forestry and Heritage in regards to the easement holding of the Town Forest. Chris will put together the information for the RLT and RCCD; Judy will put together the Audubon information.  She has not heard from Andrew in regards to information for help on surveying the forest.  She will contact him again.

5.  We will hold our regular July meeting on July 6.  Hopefully all the material will be gathered and ready to go for the August 3^rd meeting so we don’t have to schedule another work session for July 20.
